Global Invacom expects no immediate impact from Brexit

Tuesday 5 July 2016 | 20:38 CET | News
Satellite communications equipment specialist Global Invacom does not expect a significant immediate impact on the group's business from the UK's decision to leave the EU. In a statement, the company said that the weakening of the British pound following the results of the vote would have a favourable foreign exchange impact on the group's financial performance in the near to medium-term. With most of its satellite communications revenue denominated in US dollars, the weakening of the pound against the dollar will offer some foreign exchange advantages in the near term.
