Global IT, business service revenues passed USD 1 tln mark in 2018 - IDC

Worldwide revenues for IT services and business Services passed the USD 1 trillion mark last year, up 4.3 percent year-on-year and outstripping worldwide GDP growth by more than half a percentage point, according to the latest study from IDC. For the second half of the year, revenues lifted 4.5 percent to US D513 million. Revenue growth for 2018 largely reflected overall healthy corporate IT spending, with large enterprises holding a cautious yet optimistic business outlook.
