Global online video viewing up 34%, led by millennials

Online video consumption grew by 34 percent year on year to an average of five hours and 45 minutes each week, according to a report from Limelight Networks covering France, Germany, India, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Viewers in India averaged seven hours and seven minutes watching online video followed by six hours and 37 minutes in Singapore and six hours and 35 minutes per week in the US. Germany had the lowest rate of online video viewership at four hours and 14 minutes, and nearly half of respondents watching only one to two hours per week.
