Global PC shipments fall 4.3% in Q4, depressed by supply chain issues, uncertain political climate

Worldwide PC shipments fell 4.3 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter to 68.6 million units, and 1.3 percent for full year 2018 to 259.4 million units, according to the latest study from Gartner. The researcher noted that this was the 7th consecutive year of global PC shipment decline, but that it was less steep than in the past three years.
