Global PC shipments flat at 67.2 mln in Q3 - Gartner

Thursday 11 October 2018 | 09:28 CET | News
Global PC shipments inched up by just 0.1 percent year on year to 67.2 million units in the third quarter, following a 1.4 percent annual growth in the previous quarter, according to preliminary data from Gartner. Although the third quarter typically shows strong consumer PC sales due to the back-to-school season, the report said weakness in consumer PC demand continued, offsetting strong sales in the business market.
