Global smart home device market to fall 15% this year, rebound in 2021

The post Covid-19 economic downturn will prompt global consumer spending on smart home related devices to decline by over 15 percent to USD 44 billion this year, from USD 52 billion in 2019, according to the latest data from Strategy Analytics. However, the market will rebound strongly in 2021, with consumer spending soaring to USD 62 billion and then continuing to grow at 15 percent CAGR to reach USD 88 billion in 2025, predicted the researcher.
