Global smartphone sales to remain 'stable' at 1.37 bln in 2020 - study

Global demand for smartphones is expected to stay stable in 2020 following a 2 percent decline in units in 2019, according to the latest study from GfK. More than 1.37 billion smartphones will be sold globally, predicted the researcher, adding that demand could be significantly slowed depending on the impact of the coronavirus on global supply chains and production capacities.
