Global technical hardware sales continue soaring in H1

Tuesday 14 September 2021 | 14:40 CET | News
The global technical consumer goods (TCG) market continued recording new highs in the first half of 2021, according to data from GfK. Excluding North America, sales grew by a record 26 percent to USD 433 billion in the January to June 2021 period compared to H1 2020. For the full year 2021, the report predicts a 12 percent year on year rise in sales to USD 1.4 trillion for the total TCG market, including North America, thanks above all to the continuing popularity of tech hardware for continuity of work, education, entertainment and cooking at home.
