Globalstar revenues advanced to USD 23.4 mln in Q3

Mobile and satellite services provider Globalstar said revenues for the third quarter rose to USD 23.4 million from 22.5 million the year before. Service revenue lifted 9 percent year-on-year to USD 18.5 million, driven mainly by a 23 percent increase in Duplex revenue, itself pushed by a growth in the number of subscribers and an increase in the average monthly price of service plans. The company's total subscriber base grew 14 percent from the year before to nearly 620,000.
