Globe, PLDT to clarify San Miguel acquisition issues

Philippines operators Globe Telecom and PLDT have urged the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) to open channels for dialogue in order to resolve uncertainties related to the joint acquisition of San Miguel's telecommunication assets. In a letter dated June 14, 2016, the two operators called on the PCC to set up a meeting to shed light on certain issues that the Commission may have regarding the transaction.
