Thursday 13 July 2017 | 12:45 CET | News
Philippines operator Globe Telecom has started the commercial deployment of massive MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) technology to enhance mobile internet connectivity for its customers in high-density areas. Globe completed initial tests of the technology in the Makati financial district early this year. The initial rollout covers 150 wireless broadband sites, located mostly in Southern Luzon and Northern Luzon.
