Friday 20 August 2021 | 13:55 CET | News
Philippines operator Globe Telecom said Postpaid customers can now control their data usage with the new SurfAlert service. The service went live on 6 August, and is free for all Globe Postpaid customers. With the service, people will get a notification once their monthly data plan allowance is used up. They will then be able to either stop browsing or sign up to a data add-on. The service will be permanent for Postpaid customers. SurfAlert can also detect if sites can be browsed for free.
