Globe Telecom's 9-month profit up 20%, revenue grows 13% boosted by mobile services

Philippines operator Globe Telecom posted service revenues of PHP 110.6 billion for the first nine months of 2019, which represents an increase of 13 percent year-on-year. Revenue growth was mainly driven by increasing data-related products and services, the company said. Total data revenues accounted for 70 percent of total service revenues compared to 59 percent a year earlier, as Globe expanded its 4G/LTE network.
