Globe to deploy 200 cell sites in Batangas, add 50,000 FTTH lines this year

Philippines operator Globe Telecom plans to deploy 200 new cell sites in Batangas this year. The province, located south of Luzon Island currently has 361 Globe sites, 85 percent of which will have an additional 4G capacity. The operator also reports plans to install 50,000 FTTH lines this year to expand its existing lines in the province.
