GlobeNet connects first customers with Malbec cable

Undersea cable operator GlobeNet has activated the first customers through the Malbec system, which connects the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, with an option for future connection in Porto Alegre. According to the company, the first contracts are in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and the United States, reports Teletime.
