Globenet to build second data centre in Colombia

Wholesale provider GlobeNet has announced plans to build a new data centre in the Colombian city of Barranquilla just two weeks after confirming plans to install another facility in Fortaleza, Brazil. The new Barranquilla edge data centre will be GlobeNet's second in the city, described as a strategic South American interconnection point for operators, ISPs, OTTs and content delivery networks.
