Globo launches TV app for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad

Brazilian broadcaster Globo has launched a new app that enables iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users to access content from TV Globo and some Globosat channels. Customers using the globo.tv application can watch programmes aired on Rede Globo, SporTV, Multishow and other channels of the group. The app – which is available on Apple's App Store – does not air the programming live, but permits users to access video segments, even without a subscription to internet portal globo.com.
