Globosat Play posts 17% growth in video consumption

Brazilian VOD platform Globosat Play recorded a 17 percent increase in video consumption in the year to April. The on demand and live channel platform, which completed four years in May, achieved growth even though the previous period included the Olympic Games in Rio. The TV Everywhere service allows pay-TV subscribers to watch Globosat channels wherever they want without paying any extra, on smart TVs, computers, and mobile and tablet apps.
