Go fixes glitch that left over 5,000 customers disconnected

Friday 25 September 2020 | 11:22 CET | News
Maltese operator Go said it fixed a glitch that left over 5,000 customers disconnected from critical telecommunications services, namely broadband, TV, fixed telephony and in some areas, even mobile. The interruption of service started on 22 September afternoon, at around 14.00hrs, and was caused by an unrelated third-party contractor that cut through three Go underground cables in Zejtun, causing extensive damage to the network and leaving over five thousands customers across Zejtun, Zurrieq, Għaxaq, Mqabba, Qrendi, Safi, Kirkop and surrounding areas.
