Go Internet H1 revenues down 7% to EUR 3.2 mln on network upgrade

Italian regional operator Go Internet reported revenues of EUR 3.16 million in the first half of 2019, down 7 percent compared to the H1 2018 total of EUR 3.83 million. However, the Gubbio-based company said its H1 Ebitda rose 2 percent to EUR 1.42 million from EUR 1.40 million a year earlier while its Ebitda margin rose by 4 percentage points to 45 percent on 30 June. In a statement, the operator attributed the revenue fall to its decision to transform directly from a Wimax network into a 5G-ready infrastructure after reaching a deal with wireless broadband provider Linkem to share spectrum
