GoDaddy picks AWS for multi-year upgrade project

Wednesday 28 March 2018 | 19:19 CET | News
Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, announced that GoDaddy picked AWS to migrate the vast majority of its infrastructure as part of a multi-year transition. AWS will enable GoDaddy to accelerate the delivery of its products and services. GoDaddy has been an active adopter of containerised applications, and will now leverage AWS's Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). This fully managed service will allow GoDaddy to run its many Kubernetes workloads on AWS without change, since Amazon EKS is fully compatible with any standard Kubernetes environment.
