Gogo quarterly loss widens on upfront costs for new services

Gogo announced a bigger loss for the second quarter, due to costs for starting up its new 2Ku in-flight broadband service and development of air-to-ground services. Revenue increased 17 percent to USD 172.8 million, while adjusted EBITDA fell 31 percent from a year ago to USD 9.9 million. The net loss widened by 10 percent to USD 44.2 million.
