Gogo taps Intelsat 29e to provide inflight connectivity

Thursday 17 November 2016 | 14:39 CET | News
Gogo and Intelsat entered into an agreement for services on the Intelsat 29e satellite. Gogo will use high-throughput services from the first satellite in the global Intelsat Epic network to deliver inflight Wi-Fi service to passenger airplanes operating in the heavily traveled North Atlantic route. The connectivity provided by Intelsat 29e, which began operations earlier this year, will deliver bridge services for Gogo until Intelsat 32e becomes operational in 2017.
