Gold Data to invest USD 10 mln in Mexican fibre expansion

Latin American network provider Gold Data has announced plans to significantly expand its footprint via the deployment of a redundant fibre-optic network connecting all major data centres in Mexico City, and from there to cities including Queretaro and Veracruz, among others. The company intends to invest an initial USD 10 million in the expansion as part of a project to invest a total of USD 100 million by 2023 with a view to better serving in-region customers or global partners wanting to access Latin America.
