Google Austria launches Google Play Movies

Google Austria has launched the film rental and purchase service Google Play Movies, said Austrian newspaper Der Standard on its website. It is offering Hollywood films and German language productions. Current major films such as 'Godzilla', for example, are selling for EUR 13.99 in SD or EUR 16.99 in HD whereas 'Stromberg – The Film' can be rented for EUR 3.99 in SD or EUR 4.99 for 48 hours.
