Google-backed innovation centre opens in Silicon Sentier

The Silicon Sentier high tech district of central Paris has opened a 1,500 sq mt innovation space using crowdfunding to raise EUR 70,000 over six week to help pay to build it. On six floors the facility will be an open space to stimulate exchanges, to rent collaborative office space on a monthly or daily basis, it will have an events venue and meeting rooms. The first floor will house Le Camping, a start-up accelerator launched in 2011 for innovative internet projects and groundbreaking software developers. An estimated 45,000 people are expected to visit the building every year. The facility
