Google confirms launch of Android Pay in UK

Google confirmed that Android Pay will launch in the UK in the next few months. It has signed up multiple networks, banks and retailers to support Android Pay at launch. Android Pay will support MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards from Bank of Scotland, First Direct, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, M&S Bank, MBNA and Nationwide Building Society, with more banks being added all the time. Retail partners supporting Android Pay include Boots, Costa Coffee and Waitrose, as well as Transport for London (TfL).
