Google Fiber pulls free internet option in Kansas City

Google Fiber is pulling its free internet service tier in Kansas City, its first market, and replacing it with the USD 50 a month 100 Mbps plan and a broader rollout of its plans to wire underserved neighbourhoods for free. A company representative confirmed the pricing change to Re/code but declined to comment further.
