Google helping Serie A tackle illegal online streaming

Italy's top tier football league Serie A said it has reached an agreement with Google that will see the US giant remove any video apps from Google Play that allow users to illegally stream live games. The deal is designed to help the league protect the value of its TV rights, which Serie A recently sold to Dazn and Sky for nearly EUR 1 billion a year.
