Google hires new Commerce president from PayPal

Google is hiring the former PayPal COO Bill Ready to lead its commerce business, TechCrunch reports. Ready's departure at year-end was announced in June by PayPal, and he will start at Google in January, reporting to Prabhakar Raghavan, SVP for Ads, Commerce and Payments.
