Google and HP said they have temporarily stopped selling the HP Chromebook 11 following reports the included chargers get damaged during use. A number of user reports said the chargers overheat during use. The companies apologised for the problem and said they are working with the Consumer Product Safety Commission to identify the appropriate corrective action, and will provide additional information and instructions as soon as they can. Meanwhile, they advise customers not to use the original charger but to, for the moment, use any other Underwriters Laboratories-listed micro-USB charger.
