Google in talks to buy Kubernetes and cloud software specialist D2iQ - report

Google is looking to buy D2iQ, an enterprise cloud software company formerly known as Mesosphere, Axios reported, citing sources close to the matter. D2iQ has integrated Kubernetes, originally developed by Google, into its own software offerings. Google could use the acquisition to strengthen its cloud offerings for developers, market watchers are saying.
