Google Italy investigated again by tax police

Italian tax police launched an investigation into Google Italy to check if the company was meeting its fiscal obligations in Italy, according to news agency Reuters. The probe follows earlier investigations that found the company had failed to declare income and still owed sales tax. According to the economy ministry, the internet giant is suspected of failing to declare EUR 240 million in revenue and not paying EUR 96 million in taxes. Only revenue from Google inc was declared, and not that of subsidiaries. The previous probe, which was launched by Italian financial police in 2007, found
