Google paid GBP 11.6 mln corporation tax in UK in 2012

Google's UK subsidiary paid just GBP 11.6 million corporation tax in 2012, on sales of GBP 506 million, reports The Telegraph. It made a profit of GBP 36.8 million in 2012, compared to a loss of GBP 24.1 million and sales of GBP 395 million in 2011, according to a filing with Companies House. Its accounts will show a provision of GBP 24 million for taxes on shares awarded to workers from 2005 to 2011.
