Google Pay available to Italian Android users

Google has announced the launch of its Google Pay service for Android users in Italy, with an iOS version promised soon. In a blog post, the company said the platform allows users to pay with their Android phones wherever contactless payments are accepted, including launch partners Autogrill, Bennet, Esselunga, H&M, Leroy Merlin, Lidl, McDonald's, Profumerie Douglas and the ATM Metro network in Milan.
