Google shows ISPs' YouTube video quality in new report

Google has introduced the Google Video Quality Report for consumers in the US and Canada to see the level of video quality at which their ISPs and others in their area can play YouTube. The report describes ISPs as being capable of providing HD Verified (at least 720p), SD (above 360p) and lower definition (under 360p) at least 90 percent of the time without buffering or interruptions. Rather than being based on data from a small sample of users, the report is based on billions of YouTube videos watched across thousands of ISPs over the last 30 days.
