Google to bring Fiber service to 4 new metro areas

Google said it will extend its fibre-optic internet service to 18 cities across four new metro areas, launching Google Fiber in Atlanta (Georgia), Nashville (Tennessee), and Charlotte as well as Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, and. The company confirmed it will bring the service to five more metro areas this year, including Phoenix (Arizona), Portland (Oregon), Salt Lake City (Utah), San Antonio (Texas) and San Jose (California).
