Google to offer schools, students unlimited data for free

Google is planning to launch unlimited data storage for schools and students as part of its Google Apps suite of online services, reported Cnet. The Google Drive for Education is an upgrade from the earlier Google Apps for Education service, and is available free of charge. It will launch "in the coming weeks," Ben Schrom, a Google product manager, said in a blog post on 30 October.
