Google to provide EUR 1 million to Paris incubator

Google is providing EUR 1 million over three years towards the operating costs of an innovation centre backed by the Ile-de-France region and city of Paris, incubator Silicon Sentier and private partners, Les Echos reports. Google France's head of start-up relations, Martin Goerner, said the company would provide more than financial support, intending to act as a catalyst of the ecosystem. Currently known as the GLII (for large integrated innovation place), the facility will open in a 1,500 sq mt building in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris in September, hosting events, meetings between
