Google to update Play store, launch time-limited subs

Google is set to make substantial changes to its Play store to help developers of Android apps build their businesses and to attract more users in emerging markets, reports Reuters, citing Android and Google Play vice president of product management Sameer Samat. New initiatives include improving Google Play store recommendations with artificial intelligence, supporting more payment methods and expanding to new platforms, including wearable devices, virtual reality headsets and Google's own Chromebook laptops.
