Google's 'Activate' courses followed by 182,000 Spaniards

Google Spain has announced that some 182,000 young Spaniards participated in the 'Activate' initiative it launched last March together with Spain's internet and ICT development agency Red.es and the EOI business school. The programme forms part of the Spain's Digital Agenda objectives and offers training in digital skills, help in the jobs search and advice on launching a new business to students under the age of 30. Around 162,000 participants followed one of the three 40-hour MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses) available in the fields of e-commerce, cloud computing and web analytics, while
