Government picks next five French Tech cities - report

Thursday 25 June 2015 | 16:51 CET | News
The French government has awarded French Tech City status to five more locations, Brest, Caen, Rouen, Le Havre and Nice, reports Challenges magazine. The names are set to be unveiled at the second French Touch Conference in New York. The first cities to receive the label were Lille, Lyon, Grenoble, Aix-Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nantes and Rennes. The government has said it wants "to make all of France a vast start-up accelerator, a network of several attractive ecosystems, and to build a great movement of collective mobilisation."
