Govt asks Telecom Cambodia to prepare for IPO

Telecom Cambodia has been asked to list on the upcoming Cambodia Stock Exchange. Three state-owned companies, including Telecom Cambodia, have been asked to list on the stock exchange by the finance ministry, the Phnom Penh Post reports. Telecom Cambodia director general Lao Sareoun expressed concern over the request, saying it would interfere with the company's business operations. Telecom Cambodia lacks the human resources to prepare for an initial public offering.
