Govt to examine poor mobile connectivity in Wales

The Wales Office is leading a major initiative in the UK to improve mobile reception and end the problem of 'not spots' in rural areas. Speaking at an Ofcom reception held at the Royal Welsh Show, Wales Office Minister Guto Bebb said that it decent mobile connectivity across Wales was vital for SMBs and home-based businesses to develop and grow their business in rural areas. The Wales Office is planning to hold a conference with Ofcom and mobile network operators in the autumn to formally consider the issues surrounding poor mobile connectivity in Wales.
