GrameenPhone appoints chief human resource officer

Bangladeshi mobile operator GrameenPhone has appointed Mohammed Shariful Islam as its chief human resource officer. Islam replaces outgoing chief human resource officer Quazi Mohammad Shahed. Islam, currently VP, HR Governance, Group People Development at Telenor headquarters in Fornebu, Norway, is expected to join Grameenphone on 1 September. Outgoing GP chief human resource officer Shahed will take up the chief human resource officer role at Uninor, Telenor's Indian subsidiary, on 1 August.
