Grameenphone appoints Laska as chairman

Bangladeshi mobile operator Grameenphone has appointed Christopher Laska as chairman of its board of directors. Laska replaces Sigve Brekke, who has taken up the role of Telenor Group CEO. Laska currently serves as SVP of board governance and partnership relations, Asia. Prior to his joining the Telenor Asia office in August 2016, he had served as CEO of Telenor Hungary.
