Grameenphone unveils lower prepaid internet prices

Bangladeshi mobile operator Grameephone has unveiled the reduced prices for its pay as you go mobile internet package. The pricing was cut by 50 percent following a directive from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) last month, the Financial Express reports. Rivals Banglalink, Robi, and Airtel revised prices of their primary prepaid packages earlier. Grameenphone's PAYGo pack is now charing BDT 1 per Kb (plus VAT) and bills care capped at BDT 300, after which internet access is cut off.
