Greek telecommunications authority EETT informed consumers that new reduced rates are applied for international calls and international SMS messages from a fixed or mobile phone within the EU to another EU country, as well as Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland from 15 May. In particular, consumers within the EU will pay for every call to and from a landline or mobile up to EUR 0.19 per minute (without VAT) and up to EUR 0.06 per SMS. This new regulation only applies to domestic prepaid or postpaid consumers.
