Green.ch acquires Genotec

Swiss ISP and data centre operator Green.ch has acquired 100 percent of Swiss hosting provider Genotec with immediate effect. Most of the around 20 employees of the company will be employed at the Green.ch head office in Brugg. Former Genotec CEO Roger Hofstetter and former CTO Simon Jerry will also stay with the company. For the time being the company name Genotec remains unchanged. Genotec has around 50,000 domain and around 600 server customers. The data centre infrastructure will gradually be migrated to the greenDatacenter in Zurich. Green.ch CEO Franz Grueter said that he is glad that,
