Greenland suffers loss of broadcasting reception

Monday 17 July 2017 | 12:41 CET | News

Tele-Post Greenland has reported a technical fault causing a nationwide loss of broadcasting service. It said television and radio stations that were unavailable as of 14 July included KNR1, KNR2, DR1, DR2, DR Ultra and KNR FM. Service was off and on, it added, and finding the cause remained a challenge.

Tele Greenland said it had put together a team to look at the problem and was working on stabilising the signal. It added that it is in talks with Greenlandic broadcasting KNR about the matter.
